Specialized Services

Day Training:
Day Training is by appointment drop-off training, which combines play and lessons throughout the day. It’s life changing for you and your dog. Day Training packages are 8 weeks, one or two times per week, for a full day or half day.
Our Day Train dogs have play time with other dogs, if they are dog-friendly. We start with a pre-screening visit to discuss your goals and meet your dog. We then determine a start date and schedule your training days!
Your dog…your goals! As trainers, we like to see all dogs have basic manners; not jump up, walk on a loose leash, come when you are called, and pay attention when asked. As a pet owner, it might be important for your dog to learn how to chill out, or settle down in your office or other spaces. Or perhaps he needs to learn how to take direction from someone other than you.
Your pre-screening visit will give us the opportunity to learn about you, your family, and what you envision for your dog. We accept a limited number of dogs into this program to be sure each dog gets plenty of individualized attention, so there may be a waiting list to get started.
Day Training is great for crazy-busy puppy owners! Good training during those first few months with your pup can lead to a lifelong good relationship. We hold short transfer sessions to teach you what we have been teaching your pup, to maintain the needed consistency.
Dogs with aggressive behavior toward people are not accepted into our day training program.
Full day: $192 for 8 weeks, one day/week
Half Day: $128 for 8 weeks, one half day (5 hours or less) per week

Private Training:

If your dog’s unruly behavior is making you crazy, and you want results in a hurry, let us do the work.  As professional dog trainers, we can teach your dog new behaviors and skills more quickly than you can, resulting in a better-behaved family pet.  While there really is no quick fix, easy button or miracle training collar to train your dog, our use of positive reinforcement and science-based training can change behavior quickly.
Behavioral Consultation and Training:
Behavior problems don’t just resolve themselves.  Dogs don’t outgrow bad behavior.  They may become more practiced at it which can result in injury to people or animals.  Group class is not the place for dogs that show aggressive behavior, or guard food and toys.  A Behavior Consultation is the first step toward changing behavior. Behavior problems we see include:
  • Aggression toward people
  • Aggression toward dogs or other animals; fighting/injuring
  • Anxiety issues
  • Protective of food, toys, space, people (resource guarding)

Consultation fee is $125 which includes a 60 minute consultation and 60 minute follow-up appointment.
